old 20lb propane bottles
You need a potato gun adapter for the end of that thing.
Those Cheetah's are very expensive. An equal sized one to that would be over 350$! Did you just use a big ball valve? Cheetah's have that weird flapper with a O-ring on it to let her rip all at once. I was just wondering how its working out for you.

Yup 1" ball valve, tee etc. All off the shelf.
I've used it on up to 16" tires. Pump it up, put the compressor air chuck on the stem, insert the Cheetah between the rim and bead and open the valve. Oh yeah, don't forget to hold on tight.

Does anyone know the burst pressure on those propane tanks? I guess 120 PSI is safe when using them for air but I don't really know. Doesn't propane sit at about 70 PSI at room temp?

Take a couple road flares tape them to the outside and light them. Next you walk about 50-100 yards back and shot. They don't blow up, they just light off a fire and everytime you shot it after that it flares up. It cool.

Service pressure is 240 psi. Propane sits at around 125 psi at room temp, so 120-150 psi is no sweat. Our fill pump at work runs at 220 psi.
i modded the vlv on top, added a hose, small 1/4 turn ball vlv and a steel horn (kinda looks like a CO2 fire extinguisher) use it to start fires!! slash piles, yard clippings... the ultimate ground squirrel/gopher eliminator. stick the horn in their hole pump some propane in there, (propane is heavier than air) add some flame, presto. whatever you want.
