South Central Alaska has been hit constantly by one storm after another dropping a lot of rain, some heavy by Alaska standards causing our rivers and streams to swell to capacity with more rain in the forecast. Though little actual flooding has occurred, widespread erosion has. One home within a mile of me is about to go in the river. Two more another mile down is in jeopardy. I myself am under an evacuation watch. I have my trailer loaded up with essentials and ready to go.
