Not a good thing.
Anyone who has ever seen my truck knows the body and paint are in perfect condition, that is in part to knowing and having a good body shop who does good quality work. I take it to a small hometown shop where the owner and managers know you by name and wave to you when you pass them on the street and are on the top of the list for insurance company work.
To my shock I read this story in our local paper this week and I am still in disbelief.
Danny was a friend.

Yes he had just semi retired and his 2 sons were running the shop.
He was driving in from Victorville every day to the shop, about 70 miles away.

I'm sorry to hear that, Jim. I know the way that I value good people, the ones that you can depend on, so I know how you feel. It's like family, almost.
My condolences...

Friends leave that impression, and it's good to have. I've had a few and only show up once maybe once every 2 years, but yet they great you by name. Hopefully all is well with the family and the body shop will continue to provide such great service as it has to you.
