Question This is not good

Rifle, Ammunition Stolen From Martinez CHP Cruiser
CBS 5 CrimeWatch
MARTINEZ (CBS 5 / KCBS) ― A rifle and 120 rounds of ammunition were stolen from an unoccupied patrol car at the California Highway Patrol office in Martinez overnight.

At least two people cut a whole in the fence that surrounds the perimeter of the CHP yard some time before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, said Officer Tom McGuire.

The thieves broke into at least two patrol cars, McGuire said, making off with the weapon and ammunition stored in one of the vehicles.

The missing rifle has been entered into a national registry of stolen guns, and all local police agencies and CHP offices have been advised to check their perimeter fences.

McGuire said security procedures at the Martinez lot would be reviewed to prevent similar break-ins in the future.

Heck,....that's NOTHIN'.

About a year ago "locals" in DC broke into an FBI car and got away with a couple of Full Auto MP5s, and tactical gear.

That story was VERY quickly swept under the rug.

But the "Powers That Be" want to collect all our firearms 'cuz we Be too dumb to be responsible enough to have shootin' irons.
