Couple blue tarps and a role of 550 cord. Custom fit every time. You want to upgrade, get camo tarps.

Who needs a roof? It just blocks the view of the stars. As long as you're not camping in the rain...

Under the truck is usually dry enough to sleep.

Yeah, nothing like a spring fresh downpour, where you are parked on high ground, and just worked all day/night/most of the day again. Nap time says, take the hudson bay blankets off the seats, fold up the insulated coveralls as a pillow, crawl under the truck, and get some sleep. Now thats camping. hah

Couple of cargo straps and you can have a hammock strung from the frame rails......

flatter, smoother ground to sleep on?
In my younger days, it was usually sleep in the cab of the truck or sleep next to the fire outside.
