Re:New Toy

Sweet. How fast will it go? I recently got to drive one very similar to that. That little thing would FLY!! Nothing like the ones I had when I was a kid.

Re:New Toy

It's suposed to go 40 mph +.

I haven't drove it yet just got it in the mail yesterday, bought it off ebay for $200. It's only had 7 tanks of fuel run through it, but that's about to change.

Re:New Toy

That looks almost identical to the one my neighbor's brother had. It was amazing what that thing would do. The shocks on it were so good you could hold it out chest high and drop it on its wheels and it wouldn't even bounce...the shocks just absorbed all of the impact. I want one.... :'(

Re:New Toy

I think you need to find a new body for it, it sure looked like a blue oval in the middle of the grill. ;D

Re:New Toy

Let me know how the reliability is on that. I was looking at one the other day and I was wondering how well it will stand up to hard play. Looks cool, But I would have to change the body. 8)

Re:New Toy

New 03 Dodge body is on it's way along with a spool (locker) for the rear axle and a new set of tires and rims. I bought some tires that look like mini Swamper Boggers.

This truck may be a bit cheaper to bomb than the Cummins. ;D

My GM ASEP instructor has one of those. It will do 60mph!

Of course he's done LOTS of stuff to it. He lowered his, install a new suspension stuff, and circle track races his! No body around here has beat him!

You got that for $200!!! That's CHEAP!

Re:New Toy

cool .....I've had an e-max(electric version same chassis) for about a year & 1/2 now absoutly cool trucks

can handle 6ft jumps easy .........

you may want to order some upgraded steel cvd sxles for the rear or at least keep a couple stocker spares on hand, I've got a spool on mine and it has a tendancy to twist up the rear axles like pretzles after some hard runs on pavement

there's almost any hop up part you can think of for those things as they've got to be the most popular truck right now

oh yeah check out www.maxxtraxx.com
