Nice, Looks like the cookout is at your place now. Some local hippies that thought they wanted to be in the hay and horse business are selling their Belarus. I've been aiming to take a closer look at it. They have somehow busted the front window out of the cab but overall it doesn't look to bad from the road. They had the horses on 50 foot lines out in a field instead of building fences. Everytime I drove by I was at the wife about the idiots causing a horse to have to be put down instead of them being put down.

I talked to three tractor dealers( 2 of them are JD dealers) about the Belarus before we bought this..
All three said they are realy bullet-proof tractors, hard to break them. There's a parts dealer about 15 miles from me, and he loves the Belarus stuff.
The only thing I was told throws alot of people about Belarus is that the shift pattern is Russian.
That means instead of the gear pattern going fore-aft and neutral being side to side, neutral is fore-aft and the gears are to the sides. I guess they say it takes some getting used to.
The folks keeping the horses like that ought to be strapped to a wagon wheel behind a strong wild team and given a ride for a few dozen miles..
unbeleivable how stupid some peopel can be
