New Ford commercial

These ad guys put out stuff better than the cartoons.
Just watched one (not sure if it was a commercial or a cartoon) where the new Ford F150 was towing a Dodge and a Chevy in a field with the brakes locked up on the two.
Said you reap what you sew.....

I just saw it. F-150 commercial. I'm trying to figure out how the Ford is getting such good traction with street tires in what looks like a plowed field he is towing those other trucks through. My 7,000 pound truck has little traction in wet grass with street tires.
I'll bet we didn't see the first part, where they got a running start before they locked up the brakes on the towed trucks.

So let's say he has traction, is he in first gear, at 4,000 RPMs? That's the other part you don't see.

Do it on pavement, with sound, for me guys.

Chris

yeah, they don't tell ya they're getting 2 mpg and the tranny is about to catch on fire! then they don't tell ya a Cummins will do the same thing and not even get winded. also, w/ all the stuff they can do w/ computers, it's hard to say what's real in any commercials these days.

I didn't see that commercial; BUT I did like the Ford GT commercial. You gotta admit those 4 wheel drifts thru the corners looked like fun.

Wish I had $150G's burnin' a hole in my pocket......
