Need Weigh Station Locations

This information isn't exactly plentiful on the web. Or perhaps I haven't looked in the right place :P

Need locations in Ohio. Anybody have any quick sources?

Thanks!

You could always do a yahoo search on the net. Try Cat Scales.

Re:Need Weigh Station Locations

It just dawned on me that maybe you're looking for weigh stations on the interstates. Try weigh stations interstate ohio, that should get you going.

I think you can see them on the road atlases sold at walmart, but not sure.

Re:Need Weigh Station Locations

Since your from florence,ky I assume the scales you are concerned with are the I-71 scales between cinci & columbus. They are located just south of the 50 mm or just south of wilmington,oh (very wicked fellows). The best way around them are up I-75 to I-675 to 70 to Columbus It is aprx.20miles longer (seems like more though). Also in your area is I-74 East Bound 1 mm near harrison,OH

also in OHIO:
US 23 NB and SB Chilocothe north of US 35

US 30 EB Van Wert 8 mi. NW mm6

I 70 EB and WB Cambridge mm173 Take exit 164 e.o.r. turn Left go aprx.14mi turn right at light (champion spark plug plant on SE corner of intersection will reenter I-70 at the 176 mm (seem to prey on hotshots but any target of opportunity will get it as well) If you sneak through New Concord the Police have been known to bother you as well

I-70 EB Eaton Oh 1mm exit IN exit#156 onto route 40E to junction of 40/127 (aprx.10mi.) right at light then aprx. 1 mi.

I-71 SB Ashland Aprx.3.5 mi NE of US 250

I-71 NB Berkshire 1 mi south of US 36/OH 37

I-75 NB Bowling Green 2 mi. south of US 6

I-75 SB Findlay North of US 224

I-76 EB and WB 1 mi west of OH 57

I 77 NB SB 1.5 mi S of OH 212 generaly the NB is open from 7am to 3pm and the SB is open from 3pm to 11pm (not bad guys but they will whack you if it is fairly blatant)

I-80 WB Hubbard 2.5 mi. West of OH 7

I-90 WB conneaut

I-90 EB willoughby 1 mi. East of OH91

Hope this helps MR

Re:Need Weigh Station Locations

On the other hand, if you're just curious how much your truck/trailer weigh, any truck stop worth it's salt will have a certified scale somewhere in the vicinity of the diesel pumps.

Usually charge 10 bucks or so (I've heard).
