Need help with Picasa picture program

I did this last year, but for the life of me, I can't make it work this year.

We want to send calendars to friends and relatives for Christmas. We have the individual albums created and the pictures we want for the calendar in the albums. Each album is labeled with the relative's name.

What I can't do is put the albums on a CD to take to the store to get the calendars printed. All I can get is the first picture of the album, but not the entire album.

I've tried highlighting all the pictures in the album, click on file, save as, and selecting the CD drive. I still only get the first picture.

What am I doing wrong?????

Try saving each album to a folder with the appropriate individuals name first, the burn to cd. If you have a jump (usb flash) drive, try saving it to that first to see if it works so you don't end up with a bunch of coasters. Unless you need them LOL!!!

right click you desktop, create a new folder called 'someone's calendar'. This will create a folder on your desktop that is easy to find.

In picassa when you open up your project or in your case a calendar. you should be able to use a save as function in the file menu. save the calendar as 'someone's calendar' and select the folder that you just created as the location where you want to save it to.

Do this for all you calendars. One folder for each calendar, when you have them all done, create a new folder called christmas calendars on your desktop and drag all of your new calendar folders into it.

After all the files are in the christmas calendar folder, burn the christmas calendar folder to a cd. this should work. If not check back in and we'll do some trouble shooting. but let me know how this works in case someone else has the same problem.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. You totally saved our Christmas this year!!! We just got back from the store....180 mile round trip....and they were able to read our pics this time.

Not sure if I was doing it right, but it worked. I ended up saving each picture in each calendar individually. One cover + 12 month pictures = 13 pics per calendar * 16 calendars = one whole lot of clicking and saving, but it was worth it. For some reason, I thought I could drag the entire album and not have to do it one month at a time. Oh well, I got things done.

Thanks again.......Steve
