I agree. I like Garth. His new album "The Lost Sessions" is probably the best he's ever put out next to his Double Live set.

I can't stand Garth. At all.
The one and only drinking song is "Have a Drink on Me" by AC/DC.

Tom T Hall:

(Chorus)
I like beer. it makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer. it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow (makes him feel mellow)
Whiskey's too rough, champagne costs too much, vodka puts my mouth in gear
This little refrain should help me explain as a matter of fact I like beer
(he likes beer)

Look up any artists under Texas Music Labels. www.lonestarmusic.com I'm not a Texan, but this is some darn good music. Country, the way it is meant to be. Not the pseudo-pop crap that is coming outta Nashville these days.

Roger Creager, Cory Morrow, Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green (except his 2 newest albums), Cross Canadian Ragweed. If you like country, give these guys a try.

Cheers, Dave

P.S. By the way, Todd Snider put that song out way before Garth did. But they are both good.
