NC SC VA TN Family RV'ers
Thanks to Uncle Sam, The family, dogs and I are taking a week off. What I'm looking for SPECIFICALLY are campgrounds in the above states. I want to know the ONE place you have spent WITH kids and dogs that you would go back to without any second thoughts. We only bring bikes, so no ATV's and we do get bored sometimes, so near something to do just in case would be perfect. We have some places in mind but want to try something different.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Man have I got a place for you to try!!
I'll tell you about it at the dyno.

You don't even need a boat.
Of course, a kayak or canoe would be icing on the cake.
Family oriented campgrounds, secluded, and if you go during the week, very empty and quiet. Good fishing. Wildlife. Trails, good bike riding terrain. Lots of gravel roads though, not much pavement which is why its secluded. Trees down to the water. National Forest. My absolute favorite place to go all my life. Its more of camping with your RV than taking your house on wheels and just relocating to where you still have cable TV and all that stuff. They do have showers and hot water. But its rustic baby!!
