My Nissan Sentra SR20DE-T 4 cylinder is producing nearly 440hp. When we ran it on a dyno out of the car the headers turned completely red. My turbo and exhaust didn't though. That is pretty cool. I just wonder how hard that is on an engine.

It looks like that front cylinder is runnung cooler than the rest.

I wonder what the pre-turbo EGT is? And what the piston temps are? Yeaow.

Nice pic.

I swapped in an SR20DE-T out of a Nissan GTi-R (220hp Stock). I got the engine directly from Japan---which is a sin word to say on this site! Then I modded it from there. Pretty fun little car. Its in perfect condition and runs a 12.2 quarter mile when I make it drag ready. I started on that project when I was 16 years old. And it took me till end of last year. Dec 27th, (3 years\I'm 19) to finish it up with a slow but steady modifcations. Of course the diesel comes first.. Car only has around 60k on it right now. I have a picture of it in my albums.

Are you a fan of SR20's?

Can do that with any engine, just cut the fuel back, keep the psi up and open your wallet.

I can usually see a glow from the header on my car at night after a hard run (conquest tsi).

I've only had it cherry like that once when the timing slipped. Freaked me out for sure.

I think he needs to invest in a bigger exhaust housing, or a fire extinguisher before the install. haha

My first car was a 1991 Nissan 240sx, I turboed the KA24DE which was cheaper than a SR swap at the time as it was relativley new in 1999.. rather not as popular now. I think a black top SR swap was going to run $5500 and I made a KA-T for less than $2000.
