First of all, Geico, GREAT post.

This is true, but I still have the right to call them traitors for some of the things they choose to report.

And call me insane, but no where in that story do I see support for suicide bombings. I see a report on the suicide bombers and who they are, but no commentary that would support the terrorists. Actually, it seems to be good reporting. They are saying who the bombers are and why they do as they do.
Go back and read my previous posts regarding what was said on television verses what is printed in the story. You're not listening.

It seems that you all are being hypocrits. You want the press to support your side, giving America the full benefit of the doubt, but as soon as they look at things from another point of view (even thouigh this story isn't doing so), you call them traitors? It's freedom and speech and a NECESSITY for the American people to know both sides of the story; what do you want, a bunch of American propaganda, how the one brave Marine killed 20 pig-loving, baby-killing, family-less terrorists with a wet shoe-lace? The media needs to look at things realistically, from multiple points of view, and we need to remain open to that. True, the media does seem to be quick to point out examples of bad American's, but I definitly fail to see any support for terrorists.
No hypocrisy here. My claim was only that it was very irresponsible reporting of NBC. They are giving these TERRORISTS national television time, with their families talking about how proud they are of their sons for killing Americans, and they do not deserve that. This kind of irresponsible reporting only ENCOURAGES these terrorists to continue doing what they're doing.

I would LOVE for the press to start telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth....but that will never happen.

My whole point in posting this was that NBC all but called these people heroes when they ran the story on NBC Nightly News. That's not right.

i whish that the press would report some of the good things happening over there.
reporting just one side of a story is a method of canting the news, to thier perspective. a method used allot by the major news companies.

NBC didn't call them hero's, they showed Muslims calling them hero's. Theres a large difference. They're just showing that side of the story, and thats a fasciniating side of the story. I want to see stuff like that; it'd be brainwashing to only show our side.

The frustration comes when they don't show our side, and that's kind of annoying. While I didn't see their news program, it doesn'r sound like it was supporting terror.

Do they get NBC over in Iraq?
