Gonna have to get that boat "fixed" before that becomes a habit.

You mean the trailer wasn't doing a burnout?

I don't know why people don't understand you have to secure your boat to the trailer. Just because the Dealer doesn't supply a strap to secure the boat to the trailer when you buy it, doesn't mean you don't need one.....

I guess the commercials are right, those new jap trucks have stupendous brake on them. Having the braking power to stop the load- excellent, slamming the brakes on and having your unsecured load wreck your new truck- priceless.

Tim

Correction, he has transom straps on it, my bad.

Boat and truck look really shiny and new. I wonder if it was the boat's maiden voyage.

Those transom straps will NOT hold one as we can all see

I put a 4" ratchet strap around mine, not sure what the rating on it is somewhere in the 25,000 lb area I would guess but it ain't coming off the trailer

Good eye

i just took another look at the pic.

if you zoom in on the front of the truck it looks like he hit something. it is an extended cab F-150.

He's lucky it didn't come into the cab. The same exact thing happened to my brother about 10 years ago. Towing a boat in the rain, coming to a stop sign. Truck and trailer hydroplaned and hit a van head on. Totaled a brand new 21ft Sea Ray. The boat belong to a buddy of my brother's, said buddy was driving my bro's truck. It was pretty sad... they were less than a mile from their destination. No one was hurt in that crash either.
I hate pulling boats, there really is very little securing them to the trailer.
