My dad's wrecked truck

My dad is 82, he had a wreck 8/7/07. He hit a tractor that was traveling at night. It had flashing lights, but also had an implement behind it that did not have markers on the sides (sprayer). He hit the sprayer, which turned him into the tractor. Knocked the driver off the tractor (luckily he is fine, just some bruises). The truck rolled upside down, and slid on it's top for about 200 ft, then hit a mialbox, and the post caused the truck to flip back on it's wheels. Daddy said it was still running, he had to turn it off with the key.

We got him out the hospital Friday. He has 4 broken ribs (each in two places), and a broke nose. He is sore, but blessed. He walked Saturday outside with me.. Walked about 100yds. He is doing great, doctors are amazed. I just told them, that is my pop. He was loading scrap iron the week before.

It's good to hear he's ok. I've busted my nose before. It sucks. Add that to all of his other injuries and I'm sure he's not feeling too good. Sounds like he's a tough man. Tell him I wish him a speedy recovery!

Thumbs up

You can always buy another truck. You could never replace your Dad. God Bless him!
