The Movie "CARS"... A definite MUST SEE!

OK DTR members... Here's a must-do...
Take the kids, grandkids or the whole family and go see this one... PIXAR deserves the Checkered Flag for this one.... I can see why it took them so long to get it completed...
There were so many good lines that I missed because I was laughing so hard that I'll HAVE to purchase this one so I can see it over and over.
By all means, take some young'uns, but if you've had a driver's license for more than a few renewals, you'll especially appreciate it. Lots of motoring nostalgia in the scenery and plotlines.
Watch for famous personalities, i.e, Click and Clack, the Tappett brothers of "Car Talk" fame, & Larry the Cable Guy does the voice for the wrecker...
See how many NASCAR voices you can pick up on...

When you go see it, make your "pit stop" before it starts, and make sure you stay through the credits...

K.

Thumbs up

I took my 9yo son tonight to see it. It was great!! Very funny. Definately a trip down memory lane with a great message too.

Definately stay for the whole thing including the credits. Kids of all ages will enjoy it.

Finally, a good movie in the land of remake movies. Hollywood can't come up with an original idea anymore. Glad to hear this is a good one.

By the way, I thought the first Shrek was a good movie but the second one sucked.

Actually, a couple of hours after I posted that I wanted to go see it, my folks called and said they just got out of the movies, and they absolutely loved it. Mind you, they do not have any young kids now(I'm 20 and my sister is almost 16), but they went by themselves. I hope my gf is going to come see me this weekend, and me and her are going to go see it.
