What a week. We went from snow and teens to heavy rains, high winds, and 50°. Winds hit near 90mph in one area in Anchorage and that was in the bowl and not the hill side. It was a mad dash to secure aircraft around the airport.
Had some trees blow down in the yard. The dumpster got the lid ripped off and some roofing got pulled loose. A bit calmer today, but still raining. The scary part is the animals have started pairing up.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
OK, will do as you suggest. Took a look at a ampacity table and see that for that length of run that I should be using a 4/0 cable and a 250 amp fuse.
Coffee and ph00 are hot, fresh and ready. Who will be first to bring something for breakfast? Maybe Lary will be generous again and spring for Cracker Barrel or similar?
The last couple of days have dawned pretty cool for this area, but by 10 a.m. the weather is hard to beat, clear, no wind and warm. Just gorgeous!

The voltage drop, which is your main concern, would be precisely the same.
