Maintenance anyone?

Anyone do any mods or maintenance on their trucks this weekend?

I serviced my tranny - Amsoil ATF, Baldwin Filter, adjusted bands
Flushed and filled my coolant - Shell Rotella ELC
Changed the oil and filter - Delo 400 & Baldwin filter
Installed the Turbo Master 24-A -- finally got boost!

Also, changed battery in SunnyBeebs Durango and changed her oil (Mobil 1 oil and filter) ;D

I "serviced" mine. Took it to the dealer for oil/filter change and a new air filter. Sat around drinking coffee and watching the big screen in the dealer's lounge

Tony,
You should have hooked up the 5er and drove about 6hrs to Terre Haute for the weekend. There were some wrenches being turned, some were trying to fix some carnage, others were trying for better dyno numbers. Lots of smoke.

How long were you with out power? I lucked out and got out of having to drive up for a 1hr mmeting because of it.

I put 1800 miles on mine this weekend, does that count as service?

That sounds like it would have been fun... but we were out boating saturday evening and most of the day sunday! Which was alot of fun too! Especially after all the wrenching!

We were w/out power for about 20 hours! :-

Re:Maintenance anyone?

I changed the engine oil and ripped the breather bottle off. So nice just flipping the lever on the drain valve. Did the wife's Mustang at the same time. The first oil change was on the dealer. Always reminds me of why I hate the way they do things at the dealerships. Had to use my 1/2" torque wrench to loosen the 13mm plug and turned the oil filter who knows how many times before it got loose. >

Changed my oil and filter......Rotella and Fleetguard. By the way....regarding the drain plug....I was expecting to need a ratchet and socket....but my ratchet just fit right in without the use of any sockets. I'm not sure if I like that or not.... :-

Re:Maintenance anyone?

Get a Superplug or other aftermarket plug... My superplug uses a 1" socket to remove...

Couldn't wrench this weekend, took the fiver and went to Macinaw City with some friends. Left Thursday A.M. and just got home today mid-day. Had a great time! Now, it's time to change the BHAF and lube the front end. Will get to it this week before school starts on Thursday.

Getting ready to install a PE pump on my truck as soon as I run this tank out. ;D Had the tranny fluid flushed about 1000 miles or so ago. I think an oil change is coming up soon. I moved to my college apartment Sat. Put 350 miles on the truck in 3 days.
