Thumbs up Mailbox scratches gone,,,,

About a year ago, the wife backed into the mailbox across the street and left some pretty nasty scratches on the side of the truck. Needless to say, she was so afraid I was gonna be mad, but I told her I had almost done the same thing myself and not to worry about it. Anyway, I was relieved that at least I wasn't the one to put the first scratch on it. However,,,,, those scratches seem to jump out at me every time I looked at that side of the truck.
When I saw the cool decal that member Topper had come up with, I figured it would be just the right size to cover the blemishes up and I think they look cool doing it! Thanks Topper!

Looks pretty cool. I like the color of the whole truck too.

Dennis, your truck has a tattoo! Are you going to follow up with some piercings (in the front corners of the bed, perhaps)?

You picked a good spot for the scratches. The "tatoo" looks good right there!

Was wondering while the subject is stickers, on how you can remove existing stickers. I have 2 of those silhouettes of the female persuassion, nothing against the sihouettes but that isn't what I want portrayed on my truck, would acetone remove them but leave the paint alone. I guess I could stick something offer them but that is a little half-baked as a solutionl.

Try using a hairdyer to heat them up.
Get a corner started, then slowly peel them off keeping the dryer just ahead of the peeling sticker.

The only way it could be better is if the metal was flared out around the big ram where he tore through the sheet metal.
Hmmmmmm. (lets see, a pair of tin snips and a ball peen, maybe a little, OOps)
