Thanks for asking Claude, cold here today. Twenty eight degrees and blowing snow until 1100 today. Monday it was 68 and the storms rolled in Tuesday morning. There were 11 counties affected by the storms. In my county, Jefferson, and neighboring Shelby county, there were 42,000 without power. My daughter called today to tell me the noon news released info on the storm that hit near her. Turns out it was a tornado and came within one half mile of her. OK, I'm officially not happy with that. On a side note, grandson just cut his first tooth at 5.5 moinths. Whoopie!

Cool 40's and clear in NW Houston, Dinner was good. Was expermenting in the kitchen laboratory from a new cook book. Wife liked the food, but the recipes did not have the nutritional values. She is getting serious about losing weight and getting her diabetes under contor.

Yea Ha First day gone. Didn't really do much, did the sign on thing and then indoc stuff, ID card and waited and waited. Then it was home time super and workout, day is over before I knew it. Found out one furnace is starting on next Monday AM.

Heidi the rodeo is in November Usually the week of the 11th, remembrance day. Take him up on his offer for sure. It's a good time. Lots of extra things to do along with the rodeo. Lasts for a whole week. Should be able to find out more info on the net. Make sure you let me know if your planning to take him up on it.

Claude Asked a guy at work today about a rack. He's an avid hunter and he said he or his dad might have some at their cabin or the farm that aren't weathered. Said he would check when he goes out there soon. Just have to wait and see but that is the best lead I've got so far. Sounds promising.

Weather was nice all day +2 as a high and will be that way for the rest of the week.

Well over here on the best coast We saw highs into the 70s and lows in the 40s. Sunny skies all day today and yesterday. I already have a good tan on my face! lol

Ran into a guy I know up here (I'm in Portsmouth, Va) last night, we had a few beers and shot some stick. He spanked me pretty bad, but I demolished him on one game. He only got 1 ball off the table, and I was callin the 8... (it was luck, plain and simple) Good times, tho.

Gonna go see the Doc today, then split to go see some mountain man that I know in WV... He's a little crazy, he know's I'm comin, but I'm afraid he might shoot me...

Finally found a cattle supplier for the Cutting I am hosting in June, was getting a little worried..have had three different guys lined up, and all have backed out or canceled, and its hard to advertise an event when ya aint got the cattle for it.!
Ordered a new 21" LCD flatscreen monitor off FleaBay, should be here today.....finaly get rid of this 15 yr old CTX 11 inch I have been using..
hmm thats all that s going around here today, got some new panels for the round pen being delivered sometime today, so just sitting around till then...
