had a guy to the house, and i parked beside the driveway, close the trees, where it sinks down, and that dirt was SOFT. huge mess. gonna have to shovel it all back level, but at least did not get stuck and have to have the gas chevy pull me out.

Claude, some my navy friends called, they said your birthday cake was jamming all the "heat seeking radar" on thier weapon systems....happy b'day, you ole coot....

i think a fella in my neighborhood won the lottery.

he was in a real nice mid 90's "town & country" minivan, with dealer plates,
and was sitting in front of a doublewide with a "for sale" sing in the yard,
and he was all excited, talking on his cell phone.

looked like he was ready to buy Today!!

jason & josh, yeah, i have to go psi wash another guys house tomorrow, his HOA is fining him $300 for having mold on it, he lives by the lake (swamp?)

i finished shampooing the wife's soda from friday nite out of my truck last nite at 2130.

fun fun fun

Mornin' all,

Much cool air in NW Houston, but the sun is shining. Had plugged in the truck at 0530 so it had 2 hours to warm for the wife. She don't like it cold. Turn the bun warmer on HI. Not CIN's hot bun. Thanks for the goodies.

Wife had to see DR this morning, think she fired this DR. She is taking better care of herself, and doing better since Diabetes America changes her RX and exlpained what each RX does and the interactions and side effects. She is also signed up for a gym, and starting to get more exercise. All good, she is feeling better.

Old dog, and others with worries about uncontrolled fires with birthday cake candles. Daughter put the 53 trick candles on her cake this year. Wow did it burn hot, melted the frosting on the cake and covered it with wax. Did not have time to get pix. It was funny

I jobb, have a good first day on the job. Expect the un expected.
JBJ, it never ends, always something. I get behind and have trouble catching up, and I'm retired. Something wrong here. Sure hope Dodge Cowboy got some before you stole the pot.

HAT man your getting your share of Murphy, truck, computer, and wrist. Hope the wrist, and all, is fixed, under warranty. Kiddlets back up and running ok?

Kthiemann, we had problem neighbors when we lived in Seattle. Had the cops out several times. We moved, not because of them, I was getting close to retirement, and we did not like having yellow, crime scene tape up around us 3 times in one year. That was a reason to move.

Got to see if I can rent a truck in AZ that will let us pull our cargo trailer with the 2 5/16 we have. Not sure if any connectors will fit our 7 pin. More looking.
Best if I get started.

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

Wanna be, stay warm, but go have fun.

Afternooner all,

Cool and sunny, but warm enuff for 5er and Bob to bask in the sunshine.
Getting stuff done, think about half my time was on the phone on hold.
Seems there is always something else to do, or think about. Taxes is a big one. Uggg.

Stuffed pork chops for dinner tonight, was book marked in the cook book. Tomorrow I will go help my sister, she still got pain and can't do much with the broken collar bone.

Wanna be, did you ever go to the Calgary stampede? Haven't been there for more years than I care to mention.

Have a good un and be safe out there.

Who's up for making a snowman out in the parking lot ?? I guess I brought some foul weather to West Virginia with me ... about 2-3 inches of it and still falling. I don't believe it got above 25* today. Good thing these blower rooms are always nice and toasty !!

Was feeling my oats this morning and making some excellent progress tearing this blower down to parade-rest .... and thats when I ran my brain-pan straight into the boom of a cherry picker that one of my helpers strategically placesd in the walkway . Rang my bell pretty good too. Luckily I have a Rockwell "C" hardness head ... or it would'a laid me out.

Well ... time to tie on the feed-bag again. Y'all hang in there, the weeks half over already.

Cheers,
PISTOL

Hey y'all, I'm here! Well, technically I'm 'there' if you're where you are, but from 'here', I'm here. Unless you're 'here' too, which I doubt 'cuz I'da seen you 'here', so you're 'there'. Got all that? GOOD!

Glad ya got your truck back Hat, is it 'right'?

Don, hope nothin' else has gone wrong... was kinda expectin' a call from you.

Happy belated birthday Claude! I knew you were celebratin' last night... I could see the glow in the western sky!

Quite a place this 'Mt Pleasant'. Kinda in the middle of no where and not much here 'cept the university. Even the Walmart has closed down!

Havin' fun giving our speel, but everyone remembers Jake! He's suckin' it right up too!

See y'all Friday.

chaikwa.

Chris- you missed the pineapple express up here! We actually broke record temps here earlier this week. (on the + side of the thermometer ) The express has left for now but should be comming back in a few more weeks. I got my truck into the garage at the new house so the cold ca come back if it wants to.

Been a busy week at work (really beginning to hate dayshifts ) glad today is friday (for me at least)

Evening everybody.

Just want to put this out there : Be careful with power tools. I got bit by one today. Disc sander grabbed hold of the piece of aluminum I was finishing and smashed my thumb and sent the piece flying towards the the wall behind the sander. Could have been worse.

Just putting the finishing touches on my latest antenna project.

heh If you found a navy skill that started with "Y", you'd have a great title..
ETCSSSY ectasy...... wow looking at pics of the German sub in Chicago, and the WWII one in Buffalo- you'd have to be one short, skinny Navy radioman....have to leave the room to breathe out.

yeah, the rank thing cleared my army brain- some naval reserve dudes saying they were petty officer but a gal E-4 was their boss...really spun me. I told them to just stop talking.

Hey Scottie Chaiwaka- got a schedule for ya, trying to hook up with Redleg too. have surgery at 5PM the 14th of March. trying to hit some places of interest as well. figure Sun late afternoon to arrive? leave early Fri.; sleep through the procedure and not pay for anesthetic......

did 5 miles on bike in 15 minutes, kind of helps when it is below zero windchill I guess. icy road made a total body workout. did ice rescue today. good thing we tie up students (dope on a rope), wind changes current under ice.
back to the college pool tomorrow, everyone is now respectful of rescue volunteers.....I still do not see how the CG guys do it up in Lake Superior or off Alaska coast.....

Heidi off to start fixing harley fairing AGAIN!
