Man, who turned out the lights in here?

I'll take some of the sludge from the bottom of the pot and start a fresh one.

Rivers up here are at their highest levels since 1967.

http://newsminer.com/news/2008/jul/3...terior-alaska/

In 1967 downtown Fairbanks flooded big time. The jail I work in had just opened in the spring of 1967 and they had to evacuate it due to flooding. It reopend in early 1968.

Current flood advisories remain in effect untill Friday afternoon.

Batten down the hatches! 3 more days of rain! (need a smiley with and umbrella hat)

Mornin gang - - thanks for putting on the coffee, Marc - - but you forgot the good stuff - - the ph00. And how about the bag of seeds and his tea pot? Where is that maid when you need help? Oh well, just have the hyper stuff this morning and see what happens - - thanks.

Off to the doc for the probing and pictures today - - YUK. Maybe I can get a reprieve too, Heide. How did your release come out?

Where your life jacket, Marc and watch for them bars that get displaced - - they may not be happy with their new surroundings. I can just see those gorgeous homes along the rivers all flooded. Sad.

OK, going for the execution - - see ya later - - hopefully.

Very nice place, Chris .... congrats !! I know you were looking forward to getting in a new place.

Now you can come fix my place up so we can sell it . Hard for me to sling paint and swing a hammer from two states away

Checking in on the lunch crowd. Been a stressful morning ... got a couple loaner workers from another shop to help catch up on some of the not-so-glamorous work around here. One of them threw a real wing-ding when I sent him to clear out the area around the sewage treatment plant.

Him : "Eeewwww .... I'm not going in there ...it stinks in there ... I'll puke."

Me: "Guess you better take TWO garbage bags then."

I miss my sailors more and more every day

cheers,
PISTOL

Wink whew! all the folks out working again...

job done, drive back to new York state for sitting around son's new apartment to wait for the electric company. 20 minute call ahead just does not work well with me living an hour away. new times, I guess.... hope the rug is comfy tomorrow...

time to head out, South Detroit with my white skin and gold mercedes scares the street people into thinking I am a cop. little do they know I just have no fear....stupid.

I don't care if you're an individual or a gaggle. I was referring to not having seen you operate any of the tools of you janitorial trade. I think you ought to remove the mop from your head, shove a stick into it and get to cleaning.
