"Lamp out" light lit

A friend here at work has a 1500 (01 or 02, somewhere around there) with the Hemi and the Lamp Out light is lit on the dash. I've searched and can't find anything on it. He says all the lights are working. Any ideas?

From what I understand, if the bulb is close to going out (voltage change going to the bulb), that blasted light will come on, even if the bulb is still lighting up.

Sometimes it's just a bit too much resistance on a connector. I'd try removing the bulbs and look for corrosion and see if that helps.
Maybe a dealer could read the position of the lamp with the DRB3 tool....
