I'm not in ANY way suggesting pulling a gun simply to get someone to back away. I don't think you should ever pull until you know that you have no other choice. But, if pulling your gun DOES make them &quot;see the light&quot; and back down then for the love of all that is good do NOT shoot them anyway!! Not only are you taking someone's life (scum or no scum), you're asking for a lot of legal trouble. <br>[/quote]<br>No i did not mean that if it is drawn u have to shoot!! I have drawn my service weapon on many accasion and havent had to shoot anyone yet but when u do this u change the whole senario. I put this to everyone, that every call i answer is a gun call only because i bring one to everycall i go to.

I also didn't realize you were law enforcement. I was speaking mainly about individuals with a CHL. That gives you a little bit more freedom to draw your gun than what I have (you can't get charged with brandishing a firearm).
