Jetta TDI forums

Toying around with the idea to buy a used Jetta TDI. Done some research and found a few TDI forums. Does anybody have any suggestions as to which TDI forum I should join to could point me to the best model, year, problems to look for etc. In other words I want advice to enable me to be able to get the best bang for my few bucks.

I agree. Very helpful and knowledgeable people over there with the same addiction as us over here....bombing. They have "trusted mechanics" listed by state which has been invaluable for me cause I found a guru 2 hrs. away that saved me $700 on a timing belt change.

Thank you for the answers. From my research I had already selected the TDIclub as the top one, but this has confirmed it
Thanks again.

I have been looking at the TDI also. I test drove an 03' with 51k on it, They wanted 17k for it!!! I think i will just throw another 5 grand to it and get a brand new one with the full warranty. It seems that the used ones are REALLY holding their value.
