Hey, which one of you mod's have been messin' with the 'Currently Active Users' list at the bottom of the main forums page? It used to be in alphabetical order, now it's all random. Makes it too hard to figure out who's here!

If Hat turns on the coffee pot at 0330, we might have some decent coffee by the time us normal folks get in!
And it is SO the glasses makin' me dizzy! I think they're too small or sumpthin'. They 'adjusted' them, so we'll see. (how's that for a pun?!)

Dss, ya i thought about that. only problem with that is temp places arent always the highest paying places. i got my truck loan, insurance, and 2 student loans that i have to at least pay. dont know if my mom will pick up the cell phone since it is a companion plan with her.

Well, today in the morning the birdie was found dead.... seems that we were too late in finding it.
Found out that sometimes it's really nasty when the son of the boss gets "unlimited" access to the work computers. That (insert expletive of choice, repeat until sufficient swearing and namecalling has taken place) has tried a new game from the internet- and when this pice of edited by admin(ok I think "software" won't be incriminated) crashed the first comp in the net he tried it on the next one. And the next one etc util only one of the buggers was still working.
I was quite tempted to take a zip tie and apply it to his neck
and get it really tight.

Use the zip ties on the kids wrists behind his back. No keyboard or rodent access that way. Just hope he did not load sometrojan that cannot be removed.
Ask AKPaul for his B1RD receipe, he good up a killed in action one the other day.
Diesel Storm, true, the temps don't pay that well, but they do pay, better than selling blood for $$. Also a temp job can lead to a permanent job, might even be with an other company. Keep looking.

Waiting for class to start, we start presentations, but the professor is advising students for next semester and can't start without her. Worked out for the first time in weeks, mentally I feel better, but I'm having a hard time picking things up without shaking.

Evening all. Snowed most of the day. Hope I don't have to plow the drive.
Daughter moved out Sunday, splitting apartment with another girl in town. Glad she found someone to share expenses with. It's hard for young people today to get established. Closer to her job so will help with driving and fuel, miles put on her car. It was time for her to spread her wings and for mom to cut some of the apron strings. They are pretty close so I think It's harder on mom than her.
D_S hope you find something in your field of schooling.

turned the coffee maker on for the five gallon diesel grade folks and a friggin' explosion went off; now a hole in the fake ceiling tile. I really hope TOP's office is much higher up......
okay, little foreman grill action in here today- breakfast burritos or egg, ham and cheese n bagel sammiches... NO scrapple shovel ED, sorry
selling my guns on a website (who'd a thunk that one, many years ago)

playing phone tag with electric company up North NY to get service. They have a pole in the middle of my property but no right of way or permission.
Legal stuff came back "yep, you are right" and "we don't have the funds to remove it and put up a higher pole for service". talk about winning the battle but losing the war! gonna have to do a face to face and be very business like...
son will go back to college. I have to trust that he will do what he is supposed to at this point. JBARK; DUALLY what keeps ya motivated???
MADHAT must have gotten to him cause he said he wants to go in the military...I said in a year,( intern this summer, finish college) you will have a guaranteed 56,000 dollar state job to start. You'll never see that in any branch of service......I am calm and relaxed with him but inside I want to grab his neck scruff and sit him in a class. I started at 8,000 a year in a state prison. I definitely did not grow up and want to do that. I am sure
you guys did not get the dream job first out, maybe not even now...
heck even the cameramen for the 'adult entertainment' get bored.
sigh, he will have to get a lightning bolt from the Lord I guess.....
off to do errands for most of the day and afternoon.

Mornin folks, cloudy day here in the northeast.
Well boys & girls, I did it, picked up the new truck last night.
2007 3500 dually, 4x4, reg cab, silver, slt, CTD, six speed handshaker.
I must say that it a whole different truck from the old 12 valve, but I think I can get used to it.
Gotta go to work so I can pay for it now,

Y'all have enough energy to complain this much you can pick up a mop and get busy with it! I'm thinking we need an outlet for all this energy, how about the DTR Olympics. We need some names for events first. Who wants to compete in the "janitor toss"?
