Mornin folks. Dang back to winter stuff is not good. Mother nature is just fooling with us, teasing with a few days of half decent weather. Oh well it has to break soon.

04 Nice one, me thinks that deserves at least a five points.

JWBM good for you talking to your son like that, eventually he will find his niche.
There is a guy up here that took out an add asking for one week jobs from different company's so he could try out all kinds of jobs. Trying to find a good fit, when I read it I thought it was quite an original idea. Says in the paper that he is having some luck getting offers too.

I can see the janitor is in for trouble again. Poor vision is affecting his better judgment.

Have fun and drive safe.

And my vision is just fine thank you... I can see who my REAL friends are!

Morning guys and gals. Been up for awhile, but had to be in for a test for my 8am class, so now that that is done...
What keeps me going in school? I haven't a real clue other than this is where I meet and greet the most people.
For the DTR Special Olympics, how about the "Tractor Pull"? Or what is that Iron Man event that they pull semi tractors and trailers? We could have our own version of that only with one of our trucks facing the other way while in gear.

Mornin' all,

Wannabe: Your being here brightens up this place! I'm here, I here, fresh hot raspberry donuts, with good navy Tell the legal suits at the power company if they don't have the funds to remove the pole on you property, you have a chain saw that can do it.
CIN psssst, hey, kid, want a raspberry donut?
Geico is a good problem solver, he had a solution for ChrisR, easy and no cost.
Houston, 73* cloudy with mist and fog. AKPaul will be thawing out, supposed to go above freezing in Delta Junct. AK. again today.
With all the stuff flying around here, hafta duck. Janitors, javelins, bull, scuttlbutt and all other unidentifed objects. Hope that answers the question of "other flying stuff" in the thread title.
In the DTR special olympics I'm in for the feet on the desk, eating donuts, and playing computer games, event.
What keeps the wife going in college is the degree for the bette bucks job. Plus she has a thirst for knowledge.
Wannabe, the hands on the neck is "hands on management!" Build the fire under him. The job out there should be a good motivator.
Remember to be nice to the coffee makers, Chaikwa, and KillerHat. They make sure we have coffee 24/7
Got thinks I should get done today.

Take care, have a good un, and be safe out there.

Oh, HA HA HA. I have at least ONE friend here, because someone sent me a nice box of chocolate covered cherries along with a few other confections that reflect my general good nature and jovial demeanor!

So THERE!

Man its nice to wake up with temps above zero...was 6 above when I went to the mail box...only a hard core Alaskan would stand at the end of his drive in sandals and no socks, sweat pants an shirt to wait 10 minutes for the mailman that was running late...Got a yellow slip so hopefully its my new Camera....Looks to be a busy day, I have a couple inspections to do out at Ft.Greely GMD, have to inspect some work they have done, takes longer to get there than it does to inspect/test their work. That's ok since I charge from the time I leave home till I get back...

AlpineRAM...What kind of bird is that, looks like something between a crow and a raven...Rule of thumb we go by on eating game is the 3 D's, if it's Dead, Dyeing or Deasied...Don't eat...Once on a survival course we had to eat raven, thankfully we were really hungry.

Already up to 25 above...

Wink same temp here, Paul.....

not that I liek it, but being sunny works fer me! Always good to hear what you experience up there!!
my dad warned me about the 'protein' survival course in the Army. so i took plants and ended up eating wood grubs, slugs and sun dried snake.....mmm
actually like the cat tail roots- look and taste like mashed potatoes!

popped in quick before a front end change on the little mercedes, then help hold things and weld too for someone else. busy day

T-Rad! stop abusing the help!! especially since you want a trailer built and the janitor does have friends- he said they all called him on his B day!! so there, leave him alone! remember , he controls those little donught gemlin things...

DAVEY! always relaxed when you are here pal!
JBARK- i dunno why I show up....great motivation bud- go rodeo more...

everybody PM Mad-busy-HAT, he needs some troop support from DTR,
the media coverage vacuums! sorry- no choc cherries for YOU! watch your 26 inch waistline LOL

college boy out of the house, hope he actually returns to college.
love, support, and triple A batteries- oh and a little goodie bag of Trisuits, orange gum and deodorant......I can only hope! gotta have faith in the boy.

my car is calling me! here's a watchful new brother!!
pup can now: pee and poo outside by using the dog door as he pleases
chew on toys, not people or shoes
play with three foot siberian (actually very gentle)
swim in the big pond with the koi (rescued by the lifeguard college boy)
go for a walk on a leash
go for a ride and like it
sit on a carpet when we go inside the bank or auto parts store ( I train dogs- they let me do that)
find out why every dog hates the vet (Monday)
ask the siberian to open the car door and let him out ( he did it too, right in the parking lot and walked to a tree) dang dogs....
they are both snoozing now, tough life!

AkTallPaul- the bird is a crow, but the woman holding it is really small so the bird looks bigger. I know about the 3Ds, this one seems to have had some kind of infection in the lungs and air passages, severe dehydration and some wing damage after trying to start something with a plane... seems that the odds were against him.

Today I helped a friend repair some hydraulics problem on a walking excavator. Funny machine with about 50 functions on 2 joysticks.... I've already tried to operate it and it's fun, but as soon as you confuse the functions it looks like some yoga gone very wrong.

Have a nice day

It goes without sayin'... but I'll say it anyway! You're a true blue friend to the end! There's no one in this world I'd rather be sprayed with OC spray than you! OK?

I see there's some pretty decent progress made with Jake... THAT'S COOL! Thanks Heidi! Now if we can just train a few of these jokers around here the same way... Naaaa, nevermind. I know when something is hopeless!

Evenin' is ready.

Had to make sure you weren't getting picked on...

okaaay, busy, busy day but all seems good- right down to the windshirld washer pump that i repaired with super glue....

Harley did NOT have any problems other than the owner- duhhhh , one of those moments!!

just felt good to sit in the fleeting sunshine and watch the dogs play!

slowing down Heidi

here's a 40 mile per hour black fast ball coming at ya! (he LOVES my son, who took the pic)

sorry Scotty (CHAIKWA) I can only get "Jake" to bring me ONE shoe. he will bring it to me if I am outside or in the office, but just the one shoe. Sometimes when I get to working a bit fast, I have to go find my shoe from where the pup THOUGHT I wanted it last. (walking to the barn for tools, etc.)

same idea here on DTR- fun to watch them play! what more could I expect from them... JBark is still killin' me with the "I just keep showing up"
reason of going to college. I wish i could program that in to my son's computer----subliminal message-----------anyone remember the movie experiemnt with the popcorn and thirsty messages???

ok, time to wind down and clean the house...leave janitor and busy Hat alone

WHEW! Can you say WIND! 35-50MPH all day long! I chashed my hat across the parking lot several times. Ya think I would be smart enough to leave it in the truck!

How windy was it? I saw a flock of Canada geese land and start walking north! They could walk faster than flying with 1/2 the effort!

Evening all. Just finished some burgers..and a DELICIOUS mix of Creatine and something else...yummy. Anyway, bout to hit the gym in a bit. Starting to get hot here, around 94 today. Scary, it's only got another 25 degrees to go. Can't wait. Something about working outside in jeans and a long sleeve shirt in the middle of a Phoenix summer that really gets ya going. In the middle of a good book; One Bullet Away: The Making of a Marine Officer...really interesting account of a Marine from OCS all the way to Recon...good stuff.

Heidi, that is some beautiful country right there. I have always loved upstate NY. Amazing, how the state gets a misnomer due to the city. Well, I am off. Will report back later.

Josh
