Re:Its Snowing

In my area we had a snowstorm dump about 12 inches of snow on us on Christmas Eve, but the day after Christmas it started warming up and it was all gone by New year's eve. :(of course for all the travellers that was a good thing.)
All that snowmelt sure has the rivers rollin'!

Now they are calling for about 2 to 4 inches for tomorrow. But the way the temps have been fluctuating, I wouldn't expect it to be on the ground long either.

Re:Its Snowing

Well after watching the local weather men play the numbers game, we ended up with about a 1/2 inch of snow on the grass. Last night when I went to bed, my county and surrounding areas were under a winter storm warning for accumulations between 4 and 10 inches. Got up this morning to a dusting with flurries falling and all we could muster was a 1/2 inch! They did get more to the north of us though, around St. Louis had about 5 inches. I like to watch the weather men try to explain how they miss their forecast snowfall predictions, but this time they just glossed over the fact that there numbers were about 100 miles off. Oh well. At least the folks headin back to work didn't have too much trouble. I'm just a big kid who likes to play in the snow!!
