yes, i am in a good mood right now ;D --it's peeerrty outside. the past couple of years have been bad for snow. last year the lakes up north were never fully safe because the temps were way too warm for the winter ice. last year it rained during the winter. now it looks like it's coming early!<br><br>yay

 

Yup, it's snowing in central Massachusetts also. Last year we didn't have much snow either, but the winter of 2000-01 was something like I never saw before, especially after just arriving from NJ. I had 3-5 feet of it on my lawn, and at one point couldn't find the mailbox! No wonder the people up here put the number on the door instead of the sides!

 

We are having Indian Summer this week. Low to mid 50's in Anchorage. Here's a picture of the snow we got in 95. I could walk over a 6'0 fence on snow shoes. It's probably 8' - 9' deep in the front yard from snow blowin.

Yep that's the year the roof got shoveled 2 or 3 times.
