Not sure if today is it, but none the less.

Lary and I spoke on the phone, and he told me he was a HUGE Stormy Daniels fan. Or so I think that's what he said. Maybe it was Charlie Daniels. I dunno. All the same, I guess in the long run.

Scotty, have been following that tragedy. Horrible!

We have had a long spell of dry weather, but last night the sky opened - wide open. The stupid weather forecast predicted scattered showers. Yeah right! Around 18:30 last night it suddenly clouded over and the wind came up. The entire city got drowned in 1.2" of rain in just over an hour. The drains could not handle that volume of water and many roads quickly became temporarily flooded. Scattered showers indeed! From past records, last night we had more rain than usual for the entire month of April. The rainy season normally starts in May.

Just after the rain started, received a call from a friend who was stranded in a large puddle. He has a new 5 series BMW and while driving last night he tried to drive through what he thought was just a puddle in the road, but his car being so low and the water being higher than he expected, just plain drowned the engine. The on board computer is showing all kinds of strange messages. Did not even try to get the engine started by using the WD40 trick, but just called for a tow truck to take the car to a dealer. Am afraid that if I did anything that BMW would claim that unauthorized work was done and deny warranty.

It's a beeeeuuutiful day here today.

Just got home about 2 hours ago - - - tired. Working up under a sink doing plumbing that is corroded is not fun, especially when you are over 6'2" with long limbs and arms and a lousy back. Got more work done. Saving Saturday for my own home. Got help coming to get a bunch of work done here, then back to the other house next week.

Scotty - - that wreck is horrible. The kind you have nightmares about. That is tough handling. Hope none of your friends were involved.

New day is dawning - - - uhhh, well, still dark out there - - but, I have faith it will dawn. Soooo, fresh coffee and ph00 are ready for y00. Too early to bring any goodies - - nothing open - - sorry. Heading for doc today to see if I am still functioning as intended. See ya later today - - another busy one.

Wow. can't believe another week is in the book. Seemed so short, yet soooo long. Weird. Anywho - - up and at'um. Coffee and ph00 are on. Working on my own house today in the yard plus moving some furniture. Got help coming, so better get myself ready to buzz.
