for a good test drill; don't tell anyone you are going to test the smoke alarms. always a real reaction involving the big toe.....
we have ten year batteries, naturally the one that is suspicious is the one at the top of the spiral stairs (pre suicide position)

absolutely gorgeous day. worked on stuff at a whim....

JWBM - that is not a good idea. It is just DW and I in the house and she can reload faster than I can dodge and weave.

I didn't know they've invented fire in Canada yet. That's cool.

Hey yall. Hope everyone had a good day. Finally got water switched over to our account. And got our burglar alarm registered with the city. So reading about testing smoke alarms and letting the company know is good advice to heed. Don't need the emergency crews showing up for nothing.

Took the dog swimming in the pool again this afternoon. I love having my own pool. I need his toys to get here already. He kept retrieving the water weenie I was floating on. Interesting note on Chester, he's been from the very great PNW tip of WA (Whidbey Island) and all the way down to S.FL. Don't forget that stint in Japan. I'm proud of my well-traveled dog

And for all you other well travelin' working folks, wrap up that week yall

Yellow lab with some of the "cinnamon" color on his back. Pretty good dog but don't like little kids. He's only supposed to be inside when it's really cold out (company housing). Oops. He's in on my bed right now with the thunder and rain.

Don't know about alligator- but I would like to try rattlesnake sometime.

Hoping we get a good rain tonight (and tomorrow off). Gotta call the bank. Dropped a $600 deposit in the box last night, and have a $5 balance tonight. And the truck's outta fuel and Huck's outta food. Gonna shut down, something serious just got hit by lightning. Thunder rattled the windows for about 15 seconds straight.

Oh, found'em, thinking of sticking these out on the hood for signal and hi/low beam indicators.LEd lights amber for signals, green hooked to marker or low beam, blue for high beam.

Those labs are such great dogs, but they are wimps when it booms outside. Daughter has a big yellow - - the chihuahuas sleep on top of him all night. So funny to see. He is 95 pounds - - they weigh about 3 pounds each. He loves them to death.

Rattlesnake is good too, but can't count on having that as often as gator.

OK, off to beddy bye,

Bob

Yup, I did. My apologies Tallguy lol

We had crocodile in AU. And the other night passing through Mississippi we had alligator. It was "seafood night" at the Farmer's Market buffet. It was pretty good. The pork ribs on the other hand needed a little work

White tail deer a not so elusive animal dam near got my first one of the season it did manage to kick the side of my brothers truck and crack the bed.

I'm going to design a new deer round and put headlights on it so they will be easier to shoot.

Morning all - - - fresh ph00 sitting in the pot - - good man. ..................................YEH.

Shorts - - how about the weather so far? Enjoying? Better than DFW? You came at the best time of the year. The next 8 months are wonderful. If it happens to get really cold in Feb, like way down to 35 some night with only 65 the next day, just look at the weather report for the rest of the country - - then head for the hot tub and smile really big.

Off on errands all day so catch ya tonight. Take care,

Bob
