Well folks, that was another productive weekend. There aren't going to be many more of those before we get dropped into a deep freeze. I know I keep saying that my chores are all done but its seems that every Saturday morning a dozen new outside chores have appeared. The lawn is most definitely done for the year - the mowers even fuel conditioner in the tank and the tanks have been drained as low as possible. All of the other small engines have been prepped for winter. Somehow we have ended up with more than half a dozen engine powered implements that all need to be winterized. Trailer batteries are pulled, put on wood in the barn (apparently concrete is hard on batteries) and they too are on the conditioner. I could keep going on for hours but we all have chores - I suspect JWBM has more chores than me.

Now there is a roast beef in the oven, spuds are on the stove, carrots are ready too. I guess it is time to pour a glass of wine and enjoy a nice autumn evening. Have an awesome week everyone.

Twich, I don't know what it is about rye, but I know a few people who have issues with it. I had one friend who always said 'I challenge you to get drunk on rye in public and not get into a fist fight with someone 3 times your size'.

Monday starts in about 20 minutes for me. Gotta get some some ripping done before I go to court about that weight ticket I got. For some reason I haven't been able to pay it off in 2 months. I think the total coming to 3 full average weeks of my income this year might have something to do with it.

HEY PISTOL, Ol DOG, KT, Twitch and the rest of the gang!!! many warm thoughts to those freezing or in bad weather. will use my own microwave....

87 here in Central NY in OCTOBER!!! all the things to do- (TallGuy knows)

I walked some dogs at the humane society and cuddled scared kitties, played with rowdy kittens for a solid belly laugh. saw eight parents bring their kids in to help wash, play, walk the dogs and pet the kitties. nice!

for scott: THOR is an english lab (block head, scent follower) about 4 years old. looks fifteen, tied to a tree all his life. Proud, happy lab now; he looks with love, leans against ya after a good play romp. tail wags at all times. and he really enjoys belly rubs! due to the heat(ha!)he napped in the shade with his head on my lap. time spent with furry friends makes troubles very small......

If I'm in a bad mood I can't drink. However I'm feeling gets amplified. If I'm grumpy, I get really grumpy.

Pop away, you're welcome any time.

Going to catch up with a friend who has some used BFG mudders for my pick-up today. One of the coopers I put on in PA got 70 PSI put in it at some point (must have been when the tire shop patched it) and is about bald.
Been watching that, too early for all that nonsense.

We don't need booze for a good fight, though it does make it more fun to watch.
Starting another week without sun shine.
