To me, this is just another reason you cannot trust anyone in the new vehicle business. Some things just never change.

I've come to believe that any kind of "limited time offer" from a car company is nothing more than a gimmick to get people in their doors.

As a life long Ford guy, I worked closely with Ford execs as the company I work for was a vendor to FoMoCo for a while. I had the opportunity to buy on the "x-plan" which was the "double secret probation" good deal that Ford offered. It turned out to be several hundred more than the "usual" price I got from a small town dealer that was a friend.

It's all eye-wash courtesy of the big three.
