Umbillical hernia caused by the Dam stepping on the cord during birth, before it was ready to break...

$800 surgery to repair.. i think I have pics of the surgery if you want to see them...sedate teh filly, roll her over on her back, braced between to hay bales, cut her open, stitch the muscle closed, close the incision, an wa-lah, no more hernia...feed the scrap flesh and such to the dogs, and let tehm clean up the area when done..
