new turbo time and iam lost please help

hello all and thanks for reading.i want to get a new turbo but ? is the ats aroura any good? how hard to install? do i need an external waste gate?? please helpme

I'd look into the PDR HX40's. That's a great turbo for your power levels. That, or a KSB1-B.

I agree. The Pdr 40 will really keep the heat down and the upper end power is fun.

Don't now the Aurora but very new and so far, unproven.

If you have the money - ck the B-1 line. Very strong, proven dependable and 3 choices of housing and turbine wheels for 425hp, 475 hp and 500 hp.
All have same size compressor side. B-1's moves more air (900-950 cfm) than the HX-40 at 800 cfm and are, IMO, the strongest built single turbos on the market. Also has potential to spool quicker than HX-40 (unless you love lots of smoke).

Talk to Rod at Wildcat Diesel for the inside scoop on B-1 construction & installation, if interested .
