Doug,

I must say that Ive been in your shoes before and its a really difficult time. I feel for you. Have you considered councilling?? Some friends are currently going though the same thing - they've just started councilling and feel that its helping. I do hope you can work things out. Good Luck.

Doug,

Counciling is a really good suggestion, it will get the two of you talking and working on the problems. Good luck and I hope it all works for you. There are many good books out there on these subjects that I wish I had read while I was going through all that. Would be good to read a couple.

I wish the best for you Ramguy. We just recently got back together after a year seperation. It takes a lot of hard work and soul searching to make sure things work. I recommend counseling like the others say. It helps out big time if you find the right person to coach you two.

Doug,
My wife and I will be remembering you in our prayers. Not fun, but be sure to draw strength, humility and guidance from God - - He can set it all right when we allow ourselves to be changed into His image.

Doug,

I will definately add you and your wife to my prayer list. Be sure and keep us posted so that we can be specific in our prayers, it really helps to zero in!

Doug,
You and your wife will be in our prayers,my best friend is going through the same thing right now,she says she isnt happy,he has been out of work for over a year and she said she is tired of carrying all the bills, counseling is the best thing I believe, keep your faith in god and put it in his hands and you will be ok

Doug,

I too, shall pray for you and your loved one, and hope that it will work out.

My 25th aniversary is coming up in a short while, so i've been at it for a while and if I learned one thing to make a relationship work is honesty to a fault. Love is great and of course and important, but whitout honesty truobles ensue sooner or later. Also it is a give and take situation, but remember that you must never keep score, and never take, if you give from your heart it will be given back to you. God bless.

Peter

I know I'm only 18 (well, 19 as of right now ) and really don't have any experience with this, but what little I have, all I can say is good luck and I'll pray for you. Just remember, be honest and paitent. It'll all work out in the end. I promise.

Doug,
I feel for ya, I myself was in your shoes last spring/summer/fall and it was a terrible thing to go through. I can thank many people here at this site for there thoughts and prayers, and many late night chats. I was fortunate to get back with my wife and it has been the best time we have ever spent together. Getting it all straightend out and finding out what a "marrige" should feel like has been the best part of all!

I wish you well, and hope everything works out. Thoughts and prayers are with you both, this is a tough road ahead.

Curt
