I need info...

Alright, so my friend is currently looking for a heavy duty truck. Of course, his major contenders were Ford and Chevy and he had already dismissed Dodge, like the majority of the uninformed public. So, when I heard this, I talked to him and convinced him to look at the Dodge's also. Now I need some help. I know a ton about Dodge trucks, but this guy wants the cold hard facts. So, any help with that would be great. He is looking for a quad cab, 4x4, diesel with an auto tranny. Thanks!

Steer him over to the DieselStop's 6.0L PSD forum and have him read a bit. Then steer him over here and have him read the 3rd generation forums. That should give him some vital comparisons about who's having major new-model break-in problems, and who's not. GP [Hmmm. Hope that's an acceptable way to use these forums.]

Gear Poet, Your suggestion saves a lot of paper - - good idea. Let me add another place to look: check out the several RV forums under tow vehicles. Listen to the poor Chuby owners complaining about their trannies going to pieces or locking up or not shifting with 37000 miles on them. Guess what?
