I didn't know that "the female breast" word I used was considered profanity and needed to be edited. I use that word to describe many things including times when I'm describing something I'm working on that has a "bump" or inverted dimple on it. I really didn't think it should be an "EDIT"... what the heck is going on here?

Funny as this may be, it caused me some trouble a few months back.
I listed a set of near new Kubota tractor tires and rims on Ebay for my Bro in law.
As you may be guessing, I used that magic word to describe the mold vent marks that are usually left on new tires. So, I'm waiting and waiting to see this thing up on Ebay, a day later, still no tires for sale!! WTH? I finally write EBay's HELP section only to find out I had used a profanity in my description!! OOPP'S, they were cool about it, re-set my listing after I EDIT'ed my sexual description of his turf tires.

Pawn shops for tools huh? That's cool, you can buy back your buddies stolen tools!

I agree on Craftsman are great, especially the hand tools. I'd also recommend the campbell hausfield air tools that you can get at autozone, very inexpensive, good power...

Craftsman are generally about the best for the money... I also like Husky for affordable tools... They're made by Snap-On

I grind, bend, etc. Craftsman wrenches... I do have a set of great-neck's in the truck though

anyone else not a fan of Snap-On wrenches? they hurt my hand!

C/H for Air tools is a great choice IMO, I have several and none have failed me yet.
A Craftsman pneumatic grease gun? Doohhh! Darn thing gave me FIT the other day after replacing the tube, genuis that I am I figured I would open it up (carefully) to see what the problem is. Yeah right, twenty paper towels later.............

I can respect the rules, but it would be eaiser if they just made an age limit on members, this way it's user be ware.
"Word's" are queer, what if I just decided that fom now on every time I wanted to convey the message that I am talking about a womans private parts I would write " Stamp" (or insert any non offensive word here). EVERYONE could picture in their sick minds what I am talking about, right?
As far as replacing the letters with *$@#%!, I never knew that was against the rules? Seen it a thousand times one here?

Form now on, when I want to have everyone think human waste (excrement), I'll write "card". that'll make it all better?! Over time that will become "offensive"and TIHS will be okay????
Uh-oh, what about BACKWARDS spelling

Yes, some things get by us, were not perfect. All of us Moderators and Admins try to enforce the site rules evenly and objectively. However, it is difficult, if not impossible to catch every infraction.

I have had husky, snap-on and IR impacts in the shop. The husky and three snap-ons (3/8,1/2 & 3/4) wouldn't get a bolt out. The IR (1/2) removed it easily. I like my husky for wheels/rims, cheap, beat it up.

They are a little sensitive on this board. They will even close down a thread if they think its too controversial. Lifes a beach.

I don't see the need in the Snap on or Mac prices, but I don't work with them everyday or try to make a living with them either.
I think the Craftsman pro line is pretty much the best return on your investment tool wise. The older wrenches and ratchets were pretty clunky and hard to clean up with the rough castings - the new pro / full polished tools are pretty sweet. If you need a better tool then this then you're probably not reading this thread.

I have some Snap-On wrenchs and sockets - they are nice in really tight situations. The sockets are slimmer - every now and then I've hit a recessed bolt that my Craftsman socket won't get to and I need to break out the snap-on.

Otherwise - I-R for air compressors, air tools, and impact sockets. Klein for electrical tools. Fluke for DVM's. Knypex (not sure if I spelled it right) has some nifty adjustable wrenches - I have one small one, maybe 6-7", and have been impressed enough that I was going to hunt down some more in larger sizes.

How are the gear wrenchs? They look handy, not sure if they hold up to real use though?

I have a mix of Craftman and Blackhawk Proto.

btw, I have been told that the Craftsman Professional do not have the unlimited warranty since they are marketed towards professionals (which also supposedly voids craftsman's warranty if you tell them)
