Most of you will never need this info, but just in case you do ..... Maybe required reading before your next flight?

"You might also consider flying with a pair of goggles in your pocket, Hamilton says, since you’re likely to get watery eyes—impairing accuracy—on the way down."
Really? If i 'm falling from a plan 6 miles up it's pretty much game over. I wouldn't even want to live with the damage im about to ensue if I do survive. lol.

Haha, When I read in the article about that lady who grabbed a piece of plane debris in midair and slid down a mountain, all I could say is she is a BAMF. That's the kind of women you'd want to keep around.
We had an avalanche control accident one year at the ski area I worked at. A patroller had entered an unsafe zone as control work went on above her. The avalanche took her off a cliff and arced her about 125 feet down to a relatively flat area below. When we got her dug up she was on her back and only had a broken collar bone and some bruises. We figured she was essentially encapsulated in moving snow and that softened her fall. The force of the avalanche also carried her out over rocks and trees below that certainly would have had a negative impact on her fate.
