how do you keep New Balance tennis shoes tied?

we been to the gym three times, (once before Thanksgiving, once after New Years, and again today)

i like to run, but seems like about the time i get up to speed, my NB's come untied.

the only way i have found is to tuck the laces on top the tongue of the shoe, under the criss crossed laces.

what do you guys do? just double knot them?

Tie them across my arch, not at the top because it makes my feet heart if I don't. Hard to explain how I do it. My Uncle showed me how many, many years ago.

Wife has me tie hers like that also ever since I did her first pair.

shoot us a pic, then.

mine drive me nuts, my feet always hurt (trying Lyrica now)
so i wear my NB's all the time, got 2 insoles in there (one gel, one OEM)

but even walking around a store, the round shoelaces come loose constantly.

I buy NB because they are made in the USA........they come with round that I always had to double knot......switched to flat from Wal-Mart after hearing a recommendation from Pauuuuuul Harvey......have had no trouble since.

Not all NB's are made in the USA, got to watch for that.

Sometimes just washing the shoe laces works.

i second the bubble laces.
check out this site - Ian's Shoelace Site - all you ever need to know about lacing footwear

i use this method with laces that tend to come undone with regular lace tying - Ian's Secure Knot - I have yet to have them come undone EVER!

HTH, and I have no idea how I first found this site!!! It's a pretty obscure one - but I must say it is very informative and helpful!!

Double knot and tuck, although I usually tuck them into the shoes on either side of my foot, started doing that for riding my bike and I like that method.
