If ford used cummins and dodge used cat, well hey id be alright with that.

As long as the toyota, nissan and honda trucks dont get anything more than a 7,000 rpm 200tq spitting engine.

Those are where the real fun poking is at.

Nope, didnt go to the Tech Rodeo this weekend. I have been to enough rodeo's to get to heaven. My real passion is bucking bulls now, Me and my dad raise bucking bulls and take them to competitions, as 2 yr old, then as 3 & 4 yr olds. Its like the minor leagues to the PBR. We have had 2 of our bulls make it to the Built Ford Tough Series, one we sold as a 2 and our herd bull went to a few as well. This is what really interest me now. The ABBI has competitions throughout the year to qualify for their finals which are held in conjuction with the PBR finals these next two weeks in Vegas.

You should should check it out:

Neat sites, My youngest boy rides and I've been thinking about getting into the mini-bulls for youth rodeos. One of the locals in my area raises bulls and has bucked several on the PBR the last few years. David Day.

so how do you make the bulls mean???

I used to hear about people that raised dogs to fight, they would put gunpowder in the food, to make them crazy or something....

A lot of them are actually pretty docile when they don't have a flank rope on them. After a while they know what there job is and I swear some of them enjoy it. As for mean bulls they do breed some bulls with Mexican fighting bull blood in them for bullfighting competitions. Some of the Corriente's can get pretty grumpy. And some bulls are just born that way. Bucking stock isn't treated the way PETA wants you to believe. They are first class athletes and are usually treated as such due to their value.

Why would the People for the Eating of Tasty Animals care about bull riding?

They are constantly trying to get rodeo's stopped by spreading false information claiming animals are being mistreated and abused.

That is very true about PETA. We have a very good friend back home who owns is a stock cpntractor, (owns all the livestock used to put on rodeos). He went out of town and left one of his hands in charge of some horses they were in a pasture just off the highway. Well this guy owns a ton of cattle and a ton of horses. Well he was under the impression everything was fine. He gets a call from some animal rights group and they are pressing charges because they found a pasture of horses they were malnurished. Two dead and a few that were really drawn up from no water. Yes he should have double checked but the guy working for him didnt do his job. This incident had to go to court and or Friend almost lost all his stock, land, and equipment over this one incident.

PETA is out to get people all the time.

No we dont do anything like feed them gunpowder. Its really alot of breeding and crossbreeding. Like mcoleman said alot of these bulls are really laid back, but they know when its game time too. The flank is used as persuasion to buck, it puts pressure on them and they buck in order to relieve the pressure.

Hey Pantera, I agree why do they care, but all this blah blah blah about the bull ropes are too tight and the spurs are too sharp and blah blah blah pretty much. The 150lb cowboy is hurting the 1600-1700lb bull crap.
