Richard:
Does your truck have a Limited slip differental ? With the snow plow on the ford that gives added weight and traction. As for the bumper I have to say you are correct, they should have come stock with hooks. They can be purchased for your truck and work well. Seems to me you are unprepared. If you always get stuck figure out why.

hahahaha. You might as well stop arguring about who is better, because this is a DODGE CUMMINS site, everyone on here supports Cummins. Plus, it isnt the trucks fault you get stuck, its the operator!

If it is the operator, then why did I go more places with my previous 5 fords and get stuck once while pulling many, many people out? Well, because fords do go better off of the road than dodges. All of them I have seen stuck have been pulled out by fords. Now, as for the bumper, ford and gm have places to hook, you don't have to give the company more money to get unstuck. Now, I think ford should put hooks on dodges and include a spare set because they get used so much that they will wear out. Now, my truck has limited slip but we haven't put the plow on the ford yet because we haven't needed it. All it has is the brackets. And you're right, I already lost but nothing is built ford tough.

I think you have more than lost the battle, and the war, when you start talking about who puts "places to hook" on truck bumpers....

Hey Richard:
If you dislike your Dodge so much why do you want to pull the silencer ring ?
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...10#post538010. Pulling the ring will make you stand out even more. Maybe you like being bullied by those Fords.

Ya, over the years what I've seen is its almost never the truck its the operator

also you said your truck smokes more than a pete, humm... would that be cause you have the star wheel changed from stock

Sorry to hear about the shop time but when you buy it with 150, 000 miles someone else put on it things are up to chance.

Also why are the new fords rated at 250,000 miles and dodge is rated at 350,000 miles, and show me how many fords have over a million miles on them.....

I have had my dodge for all its life and have never had a problem with the motor only basic stuff ( hoses, air filter, fuel filter...... ) and one oil leak caused by a dummy at oil changers. ( last time I had them do that )

For one my best friend has a 97 f-350 single will powerjoke, 4x4 4:11 gears with bigger injectors and a gold delta chip, he was 33 inch mud kings all that way around. His rear end and front end is lsd. my 91 ctd 4x4 is bone stock, well he was running his mouth bout how good his truck was off road, my truck is auto, with 4:11 with 31 mud kings. well we get off in a mud hole, he gets stuck 4 TIMES, and fianlly i have to hook a chain to him and pull him all the way out, i was mud up to my doors, and the ol cummins never acted like it wanted to get stuck, all i can say it may be built ford tough, but not tough enough 4 me
