Im not sure of the numbers, I was searching in the thread but did not see any figures. I'd guess it is well over 700hp.

I saw a show on TV where a car tuner company souped up Porches and then tested them in Germany at night...so they could certify the top speed of the car before they returned it to the owner...I guess they do it with all the cars they tune. Well they took one like that up to 224 mph (not kph) with a driver and camera man. They said they would get a few more mph without the camera man...they had to do the testing at night because the traffic during the day slows things down on the autobahn. I can't imagine going 224 at night let alone daytime. Talk about driving beyond your lights

Either way...seemed pretty cool.

Was it Ruf Automobile GMBH? Probably - - - they build some wild stuff. Here's their website: http://www.ruf-automobile.de/content...k=&id=&lang=en

On Edit: Here's a writeup of one of their cars on edmunds.com: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=117299

Yea I seen that show, it was on the History Channel. I remember some old gentlemen filling up a Yellow Porsche w/ gas then going 200mph+ on the Autoban.

How cool would that be to fly by a cop going that fast? That would make any Red blooded american's heart skip a beat.

Imagine passing a cop over here that fast. I would prolly just reset the radar and get the next big speeder at 5 mph over.

WOW that car is INSANE!! I'd love to take that sucker for a spin or two. I'd be so curious to see what the numbers from that dyno were.
