An aquaintence of mine (back in the late 70's) worked at the local Porsche dealer.
Got a great deal on a wrecked 911.
Put the engine in his VW Bus.
Only lasted in that configuration for about 1 1/2 months before pulling it back out.
Too many tickets for "Exhibition of Speed".....pulling wheelies....
Ahhhh,,,,, the good ol days.
