Help a dummy wire speakers

Ok, so I've finally been able to get my hands on a set of Klipsch Cornwalls and would like to have a "wireless" set up. The only way to run speaker wire to them is to either go through the attic or plumb it in the floor...and I can't stand the thought of drilling a hole in my hardwood and really don't want to do the attic thing if I can help it. Is there a product out there that would allow me to put a small reciever on top of each speaker and make my new toys wireless?

I think the only wireless setup you can get transfers the signal to the rear of the room. You still have to wire the speakers from the rear receiver.

Since you got Cornwalls you must be very serious about sound so to heck with what it looks like. Just be a man and run those wires across the floor and tell the OL she better not trip over them or there will be heck to pay! That’s what I would do (as I look around to make sure my wife isn’t reading this)

Got it done. I decided to bite the bullet and plumb it through the floor...I about cried when I drilled the holes...

Having kids does have its perks. I sent my 11yr old under the house and he did what would have taken me 30m in 5, plus he found some kind of critter skull under there so now he thinks it was pretty cool. And boy, do those Cornwalls sound good!!!!!

Great. Wish I could borrow your kid to run some wires in my attic.

what are you powering the Cornwalls with?

I have had my share of Klipsch spkrs. Heresy, K horns and Lascala's but no Cornwalls. I ran Brystons, Quads, NAD, B&O, Creek Audio and some nasty Nakamichi tube amps.

Makes me want to build another system.

Its an older Yamaha reciever...150watts IIRC. Its the first speakers that can get loud enough to make my CDs skip at half volume!!!!!

I used to be his mailman and what a unique individual he was. My wife used to work for him long enough to get a set of Forte's at cost and then quit.....but gave them to her parents. My brother came across this deal and I couldn't pass them up.

I found out today that a lady that works for me bought the pair of Bells that was in the Klipsch museum (Valerie insisted that they buy them) and are signed by Paul.
