heater core?????
I need to change the heater core out next weekend on a friends 1/2 ton dodge pickup I just wanted to know if it is the same procedure as the 2nd generation trucks. any advive or tips?

you dont have to take the dash all the way out just roll it onto the center console. Dont forget to drop the steering wheel. change the heater hoses while your there and change out the clip type hose clamps to regular. You dont have to take the hvac box all the way out just loosen some of the bolts and the stock one should slide out. The new one should have lines that swivel. I dont know if you will have to evac the ac.
