Health insurance for animals
Re:Health insurance for animals
I will try to make this short but I am a water treatment plant superintendent in Texas and have a class “A” treatment license. I would question weather or not the water is the cause of your and your dog’s problems. Unless the water has visible sediment in a glass you would have to drink 2-4 gallons /dayfor a lot of years for it to cause stones. Look at the amount of calcium in the dog food.

Just my thoughts for now but maybe I could be more help if you could get the amount of Total dissolved solids (TDS) in your water. Anything under 1500 should not be cause for alarm and most public supplies are under 1000.
Boy oh boy did you come to the right place... I am the office manager for the Union at Hoover Dam... One of the benefits that we recently started offering our members is a Pet health, and care insurance plan. So here's the link. It costs our members $40 a month... so I don't know what your price would be. But you do get some coupons for PETCO online when you register.

http://www.petcareinsurance.com/

bigfoot:
He mentioned something about TDS but I forgot what he said. The tests he did showed absolutely nothing in the water, not even any chlorine. The water is pumped from two wells that are over 400 feet deep and there is no chlorination or any treatment performed before the water is shipped out in the system.
I know several years ago when I use to run a vaporizer in my sons room, it would look like a keg of baby powder went off in the room after several days. Everything was white. I use to run a humidifier and after about a month or two, the vaporizer screens would clog completely up with a white crusty stalagmite looking stuff and I would have to replace the screens.
About ten years ago, I was having 4 or 5 kidney stones a month and the last two, I nearly went under the knife. I quit drinking the water, started drinking distilled water then and have not had even an indication of a stone since.
If those wells are down that far, surely they must be artisian and you wouldn't think water that deep would have anything in it would you? The James River is about a mile away or less but the wells are well below the river level where they are situated.
I feed them the expensive stuff, Eukanuba at $38 a bag. I am going to look at the calcium levels in it and see where that goes.
Thanks to all for the input. I surely don't want to put my baby through that again so I need to find out what is wrong here.

DD4X4
