Hay Prices

With the dry summer we had here in Kentucky, I have noticed hay is pretty hard to find. How much is it selling for in other areas? ???

We're selling square bales for 4.00 up to 8.00. That's delivered price. First cutting looked pretty good this year....

Re:Hay Prices

Central Illinois area I am giving $3.00 a bale for square alfafa but it's getting hard to find. I also feed 1200# round bales of alfafa for horses and they are pretty steady at $45.00ea.<br> Cattle hay on the other hand, alot of farmers are still trying to get rid of last years hay because of that bumper crop. I can get 1200# grass round bales for $25.00 and up depending on quality.
