the shaft that the governor springs go around bent due to either a weld breaking or a pin breaking and bending up against the governor weights/shaft. the idle is stuck at 1700rpms. trying to figure out how not to spend $2000 on repairing this [undecided]

actually, i did have two lobster rolls last night. ah i love having a fresh seafood restaurant 2 miles away :P

 

Yeah lucky your not landlocked. We have the great lakes, but the only thing worth buying is the whitefish. Everything else is farmraised so it's better to catch your own. What seafood you do get comes in very small quantities for the price. About do for another trip to the east coast to get a fix

 

redleg, i know all the good and bad restaurants around here Kinda funny how Red Lobster thought that they would be able to compete with the local FRESH seafood businesses; now all of their restaurants closed down btw, haddock is our main fish. <br><br>looks like i'm installing a 370hp marine pump once it gets here. we'll see how things turn out. will have to do some experimenting..<br><br>Tom
